Counter top filter system treats 20,000 gallons of water through 6 stages of filtration for the removal of taste, odour and chemicals. The six stages of filtration include 2 - 1 micron filters, G.A.C. (granular activated carbon), KDF55, KDF85 and ion exchange water softener. The KDF55 and KDF85 are more effective and have longer efficiency life than a G.A.C.. The incorporation of both of these filter materials further enhances their efficiency in the removal of contaminates such as odor, taste, lead, heavy metals and pesticides.
